    Hi,
I would like to know what I need to do besides buy the 7970m and plug it in.
Due to the fact that I have the 6970m it seems it should be easy.
Also do y'all think it is worth it?

I also saw on newegg that a 16gb (2x8gb) 1866mhz c10 corsair vengeance memory is out for $129.
    Finally a 1866 c10 8gb module is out.

Is it worth it to upgrade to the 7970m? ABSOLUTELY! Here is a guide one of the senior forum users wrote. He really knows his stuff, so follow his instructions to a T and you should be right as rain. http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...-mobility-7970-m17x-r3-illustrated-guide.html

As for the RAM, get the upgrade. I have the 8GB package in my R2 and it runs smooth as butter. The price is OK. I got mine for less than $100 but it was half the amount of RAM.

Ok thanks, I hadn't seen it the post before. I also think the memory is quite cheap at $8 per gb for so fast ram
