    Urgent! Please help stuck on windows 8restore screen

    Hi, I installed the creative sound card driver for windows 8 but was running into issues. After the 3rd time of installing it and rebooting using advanced reboot my laptop has just frozen after I choose to restore it to a previous date.

    Is this an issue with the sound card? What can I do?!? I can't boot into some sort of safe mode either and it's just stuck on a black screen with the blue windows logo.

    Any help would be seriously appreciated!

    Just press F8 and maintain the key before you see the Windows logo.

    Choose Advanced boot and choose last know good config ;)

    Somehow it took 2 hours to unfreeze on my brand new Samsung 840 pro ssd...

    I just did a restore to an early date.

    Everything loads fine but when I try to install the audio driver or even just use the laptop generally I get
    "thread stuck in device driver"

    And my laptop crashes.

    Any help?
