    Hi...i have the following system given in my signature below...that i just got...but i really wanted an alienware...then today morning i saw this deal...

    Alienware M17X Laptop w/ Intel i7 740QM (2.93GHz)
    4GB DDR3, 320GB HDD
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64,
    802.11n WiFi, Slot Load DVD SuperMulti,
    Dual ATi Radeon HD5870, Bluetooth and
    17" (1440x900) Display

    would the dual ATI be any good (noob question)..or do you think ...i should keep my current machine and it would outclass this...?

    I am running out of those days to decide whether i should keep the hp or give it back

    I'd keep the HP before I'd get an r2 with the low res 900p display. I also don't like xfire gpus. Too many little glitches and not enough support. If you really want an AW get the m17x r3 with AMD 6970 and sell the HP.
