    Hi Guys,

    I'm looking to get the 240GB Scandisk Extreme II SSD for my M17x R4. Will it be ok to install it as its 7mm in height? I thought you need it to be 9.5mm in height. It should come with an adapter or something to push it up.

    7mm is fine (I have a 240GB Crucial M500, £80) which is 7mm, the 4 screws on the caddy will hold it on place without any movement. I have an older Samsung 830 and its 9.5mm and it doesn't really rest on the mounts, the screws hold it in place tbh.

    Yep due to the cage used to secure it, it makes no difference.
