    Hi,
I love using my M17x R2 and want to know if I can plug my work desktop tower through it. This is so I can use my R2 for screen, keyboard and mousetracker. This is so I don't have to put another monitor, keyboard and mouse on my desk. Plus the R2 RGB screen is so nice to use :)

    Is this possible?

    Many thanks,
    Russ :)

Hi Russ, the M17x R2 doesn't really have an Input port for image; Thou the M17x R3 does. If there is another way of getting that done, I will love to see it as well.

It should have an HDMI in like the R3 does.

The M17x R1 & R2 have express card slots and you can get a HD80E Express Card. It has a HDMI in port.

    This is the card:

you could just use a program like synergy or Input director which lets you use both computers with just 1 keyboard and mouse its like having a dual monitor setup just both screens are run by separate computers. both computers have to be on the same network.
