    Hello, I have a Alienware M17x and an Alienware M9750, is there a way I can

    use my Alienware M9750 as an addition monitor for my Alienware M17x?

    There both 1440x900.

    Unless the M9750 has some sort of video input, then no.. it's not really possible. I say "not really", because if you were really determined, you could theoretically disconnect the M9750's LCD's input cable from the video card, then attach some kind of insane adapter to it and connect it to the M17x's VGA out, but that would be quite a bit of trouble. The screen would also still require a power source.

    In short, there's no simple way to do it.

    depends what you would like to do.

    You could make use of a NFS (e.g. Sharing in MS Windows) and therefore you would have the same data on both pc's. Moreover, you could also install a tool like Synergy which would allow you to use only 1 mouse and 1 keyboard on both systems depending on the focus.

    This could pretty much emulate having a second screen, but both systems would still be independent.
