just did the v8.0 bios flash and its causing my windows to blue screen before it loads, i have tried doing a windows restore but it does nothing. Should i try reinstalling windows or try to load the backup of my old bios?? i dont know how to restore my old bios.

the bios flash seemed to have no problems

it also bluescreens when trying to go into safe mode

I am not the best to guide you through this but I did find a thread that may help you out better than I ever could:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware/404987-how-recover-bad-bios-flash.html
I hope this helps you out.
And always go the easier route first with windows recovery/reinstalling efforts. A bad flash would most likely give you a blackscreen with a blinking cursor... for those who know better than I correct me here if I'm wrong.
    Good luck.

**EDIT** I thought you meant the A08 BIOS. Which is the system BIOS. Is that what you meant or did you mean that you flashed the vbios for your gpu's? If you were attempting to flash your vbios then the BSOD's are common issue if you miss a step. Please clarify so I and others can properly direct you to the right steps to take. Thx

oh sorry its the A08 system bios.

reinstalling windows to see if it was just a driver conflict, i have set up the flash USB if that doesnt work

No prob. :) Just noticed the 'v' after I posted and thought... uh oh I just sent him to a system BIOS thread and instructions. Wanted to make doubly sure I wasn't leading you in the wrong direction.
Good luck and i hope that it goes without issue. If you are getting BSOD's that means you still have an OS to give them and I would wager you can get into your BIOS. Usually when a system BIOS flash goes wrong you will have a black screen with a blinking cursor and I believe it's Numlock and scrollock leds. But as a disclaimer... I'm no expert on this just prepared if mine ever fails.
    Cheers.

Yeah i was pretty upset when typing. i managed to reinstall windows and it works, i am installing all the drivers now. I think it corrupted a driver or system file.
