My video card doesnt appear to be working anymore and its no longer listed in the device manager. The only thing shown there is the intel where before it listed both.
    In the bios it says:
    Integrated Graphis Intel Sandy Bridge
    Discrete Graphics 1 [Not Detected]

I think you should call up Alienware tech support and have them do a remote connection to take a look. You will most likely need a new card, which will be covered under your warranty.

    Lets not jump the gun...

    Did you try FN+F7?
Have you recently changed NVIDIA drivers?

Well, I seem to have this problem also. I was trying to restore my laptop to factory specs by doing a fresh install. Catalyst wouldn't install, now I've tracked the problem down to my Discrete card, ATI 6970m, not being detected at all by the laptop. The BIOS don't see it, HWinfo32 doesn't see it, nor does Windows. I have tried resetting the bios, I have removed the card and replaced it, and nothing works. I have also run the laptop with the bottom cover off because I noticed the card felt hot while I was removing it. The fan isn't running for the GPU, indicating it isn't powering on or something.

    Any solutions?

I'm wondering if my card died. Warranty time.
