Hi I have a brand new M17x R-3 and I notice that the volume/mute buttons do not work at all when I'm playing Star Wars The Old Republic. I have to minimize to windows to get them to work. I noticed some people posted about this in the m18x forum but no one has any answers. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

its more than likely just lack of driver support or a bug. It worked for me in beta, so idk what the problem is. Unfortunately, I didn't pre-order the game So I can't look and see if there is a fix. :(

Well I tested other games with no problem. Not even playing in windowed mode fixes it at all. I'm running out of ideas, hopefully an answer will be found once the game is out for everyone.

You could try reinstalling the latest OSD driver from dell and see if that helps.

I'm going to try reinstalling the OSD driver. Looks like more people in the m18x forum are experiencing this. All my games except SWTOR work.

I finally figured out a fix, I clicked the Run this program as an Administrator check box on the OSD exe. All my buttons now work. Now to figure out how to get rid of the UAC message on start up now :/
