This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Curious what some of the thoughts regarding a fresh install vs and upgrade on windows 8. j

    Im about to take the plunge but unsure what direction.

    I was thinking about doing a factory restore and then upgrading.

    or

    Just a fresh install of windows 8
