I have a Wifi problem I have never experienced before in my life and I am not sure on how to resolve it.

The problem: whenever I log onto windows (new session, or just starting the computer), it connects to my wifi router. The connection is almost instant but 20 seconds after it connects, it says connected but no internet access and thus for about 5 minutes minimum.

What I've done: I've un-installed the intel wifi driver and re-installed it. Not sure where to go from there.

My iphone, my fiance's laptop all have internet access instantly once connected to the wifi router.

    Please help.

well, interesting...ive had this problem at times, but usually it would go back after a few minutes. Or i would disconnect through the network and sharing center and reconnect. (seems too simple but its worth a try). Maybe the settings are the same in windows 7 but i know in vista, you can request new IP settings, reset the wifi card. Also if you keep your router on all the time, maybe resetting that will help. Hope this helped

First thing I would do is do a reset on the router to eliminate that out of the equation. Even though other things can connect to it. After that I would go into command prompt. Windows button+R type in cmd. Type "ipconfig /release" then type "ipconfig /renew" and then "ipconfig /dnsflush" all without qoutes
