Yeah! So I received an e-mail today saying that my M17x-R2 has already shipped, like 2 weeks ahead of the estimated time! Happy!

Anyways, I'm going to go ahead and assume that I'll need to update drivers and stuff, so if anyone can point me to a list of things I'll need to be sure to check/update soon as I get it up and running I would be most thankful.

    Thanks!

Well not much you need to do really. It'll already come with the newest bios (a05) and with all drivers installed. Also, aw does not install any bloatware so there's no need to remove stuff as well. Only thing I can think of is updating the ati drivers to 10.5 but only if you have the 4870 cards. If it's 5870 that u have don't do it as they won't work.

Mine came with the Crossfire disabled, kind of weird since the system was running worse with than the M15x-R2 with lesser specs until I discovered it.

My advice, benchmark that puppy and make sure everything you ordered actually got installed, there have been issues before with people not getting the right components, or something missing.

Welcome aboard, you will love the system.

Are all you guys buying R2 Originally or getting replacements for your R1's. I'm just curious cause I'm having all kinds of odd stuff going on with my R1.
    -Latency Stutter
-CPU 30-50 No matter what I change or close
    -Can't update to A04 Bios.
-Everything is running ridiculously slow even though I have like 5 programs at boot

I just don't get how a system this incredible is just not so incredible. I just want it to work how it should instead of continuous issues.

Replacement here for a faulty R1.
