17-R3 When the laptop wakes up from sleep the screen stays totally black. The machine is on and running because I can hear everything but the screen will not turn back on. I have to do a hard shutdown and then turn it back on for the screen to work. This only happen after it goes to sleep. If I can get around reinstalling windows that would be great. Thanks

I'm having this issue with a AW17 too, if put to sleep and woken enough times it will snap out of it and return to normal on my end.

No idea why it's doing it though.

Same issue updated my bios to the latest version and it still wont turn back on.

I checked my Windows 10 Sleep settings and it is set to Sleep NEVER when plugged in, but the screen is set to 10 minutes and wont turn on again.
