The 770M is much better than the 765M, which I'm going to assume you have.

Hmm, well, I'd try negotiating with a sales rep. before deciding on what to buy. They do understand you have a budget to work with and may offer you a good deal. You may even be able to get the 770M and 2 years of warranty. It's not impossible, I've seen even better deals before.

The 765M can play most games on Medium to High settings. You do have a desktop for gaming, so, maybe the 765M is perfect for you.

    No problem, happy to help.

Well, long story short, it has to do with the warranty and a deal I was promised that Alienware never lived up to. I did not cancel the order because I had already negotiated a "fair" deal, and was expecting him to live up to this promise. So, I got stuck with it.

The laptop is great, though. It has nothing to do with performance or anything related.
