    Does anyone know if you can increase the period of your Warranty aftermarket?

    I only purchased 1 year, kinda wish i bought 3 :rolleyes:

    My laptop is nearly 3 months old.

    Yes you can, its quite expensive nonetheless however.
    Give Dell a call and they will give you a price quote.

    Yes, how much more expensive depends on the rep. I would guess its about 20-40% more than the cost at purchase.

    I just called to get my warranty upgraded since it is still in production. They wouldn't let me without canceling the order and re-ordering it. The rep I talked to said for the 2 years advanced,300 at time of purchase, would be 600 now.

    just cancel and re-order, the only down side would be the time you get it.

    Either way, you got something like a 21 day refund trial, demand a refund and get a cheaper warranty. Don't let them stall you till the last second when your 21 day refund period expires, demand they take back your laptop and give you your money back!

    Only manufacturer's basic warranty, which is one year x 2.
