    Warranty Issue

    Hi guys.
    Seeking help on warranty status.
    I juz got mine alienware laptop.
    The laptop i checked on dell website got 434 days left of warranty.
    I called Dell today to checked on warranty status, they told me the laptop hasn't been registered yet and ask me to send them receipt invoice in order to verify the warranty.
    The problem is i don't have the receipt invoice.This is because the seller is a third party and it had been through many layer of supplier before the laptop got to him.
    The laptop that came to me is a brand new laptop and hasn't been opened yet. The only thing written on the box is service tag and some others number but without any name and address on it.

    The service tag is usually enough as an identifier for ownership.
    you can use the service tag number for registration.
