Any ideas on why this happens on programs I run as administrator? Thanks! ( this is when I use the right click and try and change which graphics card is being used ) I'm using nvidia optimus.

Are you not an admin on the computer I guess?

We always recommend to use the DELL drivers because they work better (are made to run) with optimus.

Thanks, Is there not a workaround? Since performance increases are seen with newer drivers?

Of course its fine then, because integrated card is off. I was just curious with optimus enabled is there a work around?

Not that I'm aware of, if you want optimus to run properly you will need the DELL drivers.
