I'm having a weird problem plugging in to TV's using HDMI. When I try and watch a movie or something fullscreen, after a few minutes the start bar will pop up and I'll have to set the movie back to fullscreen again. The really weird thing I just discovered is that it does it on games also. Tested Dirt 2 and Arkham Asylum and both booted me out to the desktop after a few minutes. This does not happen when I'm not plugged in to an external monitor. Any help would be great.

    4870's running on 10.5 drivers

I thought about upgrading to the 10.7 drivers but it took me forever to get the 10.5 with the Bad Company fix installed and I didn't know if the Bad Company load bug was fixed in 10.7?

    Thanks.

I don't know if it was fixed, since I only got BC2 once on 10.7a's.. but the load time's aren't killers like there were on 10.6's apparently. There were better benchmark's on 10.7 as well, so either wait 1-3 weeks for the new official Dell drivers, or get onto the AMD beta 10.7a drivers.

As for your external problem, I *think* someone else may have had that (might have read it in passing), so I suggest looking for that in the forums.

I'll keep searching, but kind of a hard thing to look for. Don't know what to put into the search.

Something like HDMI problem in the m17x thread perhaps.. i'll try it as well

EDIT: I wanted to ask, have you got the lastest drivers? OF what you might ask? OF everything.. plus the player your're playing on should be updated (and stealth mode has to be of from what I've seen on my own tv..)

Everything is up to date, other then the ATI drivers of course. After further testing it does do it on the laptop screen as well. I've only gotten it to do it on movies and it just seems to stop doing it after a while, even on a TV. I've tried just about every program on earth and it happens to all of them. Also, stealth mode is off.

Think I may give the 10.7 drivers a go and see if that helps anything I guess. Going to suck if Bad Company 2 starts loading terribly slow again.
