    Weird display issue M17x R4 (Less than 1 week old)

    Does anyone else get weird shadows on the top of their screen when they turn on their laptop?

    I have taken some pics which i have attached, they show my laptop screen with notepad opened to full screen to highlight what i mean.

    The display is the 1920 x 1080 3D 120z display.

    seems like a backlight issue to me. I would call up dell and get your display replaced. ;)

    This LCD bleeding and is definitely a defect. Have them give you a new laptop since you are within 21 days.

    Well, I spoke to tech support and they offered to send someone round to replace the screen which i initially accepted however they couldn't arrange this for a time when im at home, I.E the weekend so i then asked for a replacement which the tech support agent said he couldn't do that but offered me a full refund......so i think i have to go with that and either order another one or just order the new asus g75. :( shame really as a liked the laptop overall.

    Have em take it back and get your money back. Maybe argue for a discount if they want to keep your business...

    Well the Dell engineer has just left and he replaced the screen for me, All is well in my Alienware life again :)
