So I see the 11.6 driver is out and I want to install that but the thing is, I'm supposed to uninstall my old driver first. (Which is 11.5b Hotfix - I installed the hotfix driver over my pre-existing one, 11.5)

After uninstalling CCC and all the ATI components (even the CAPs), GPU-Z still says I have 11.5 installed (and my screen is still on 1920x1200 res).

I went through the Add/Remove programmes menu but I can't find anything ATI-related. I even tried CCleaner but nothing. :/

    What should I do??

This is how I unistall my drivers....go into the control panel and uninstall programs. I delete out the caps first (not necessary but I do it) then uninstall the ccc. Reboot your computer to safe mode and use Drive cleaner and select the amd drivers to clean. If you don't have Drive cleaner there are many posts here telling you where to get it...like rage 3d I think. You will have to reboot after drive sweeper, then do ccleaner. You should now be able to install 11.6 and then reinstall your caps if you uninstalled them. Works for me everytime. You get used to it after doing it several times.

It worked! 11.6 installed now. :)

Sadly... no performance gain in either Witcher 2 or Fable 3. Both still runs like crap. Having an insane amount of micro stuttering in Witcher 2 and changing the settings have no impact whatsoever.

Fable 3 runs fine sometimes, but there are certain places in the terrain where it lags horribly when I look at it, even at minimal settings.

Well, I am glad you have 11.6 now, but I am running Witcher 2 set pretty high with no issues at all (hard to describe how I have it set since it has all these new setings), and we have pretty similar systems, you are just configured in a raid and have 2gig more RAM. I am wondering if your raid configuration is messing it up.....or unfortunately you may have a bad card.

Hmm. I don't think my card is breaking down. I can run Dead Space 2, WoW, Civ V, DoW Retribution, Borderlands, Just Cause 2 and several other noteworthy games with no issues.

Perhaps it's the Raid configuration that's messing up my system. Gonna try reformating and see what happens I guess... Ran out of space on my external HDD though, so I'll have to get another one to backup some of my stuff.
