I've had my m17x for about a month now and ever since I got it in firefox and IE there are some weird boxes/rendering that covers up part of the pages when scrolling down or up, and if I do scroll away from it and come back it's gone. Only sites with some kind of image will do it, or sites that have floating advertisements.

I have the latest AMD Drivers (9.12.0.0) and am in Dedicated graphics mode
I also have the latest java and flash installed

    Specs:

    M17x r4
    i7 3610
    Radeon 7970m
    12gb Ram
    240gb SSD
    Windows 7 ultimate 64bit

I have attached a screenshot to show what I'm experiencing.

I had (and still have) this issue: I think it has to do with Firefox's coding. It doesn't happen in Chrome.

I had a similar problem to this a while back and the way I disabled it was by going into the advanced options and disabling hardware acceleration...I think.

Are you referring to flash? I just disabled hardware acc on flash, and so far I havn't seen this problem, knock on wood, but before it was kinda random, it didn't always happen with the same sites, so I will have to see how it goes.

    ***Edit***
    3 minutes later....

It still happens with hardware acc disabled. Bummer

    ***Edit2***

I just moved over to Chrome and I have to say that it seems faster and better scrolling, more fluid, and I went to the sites where the problems persisted and it hasn't showed up.

I think i'll just have to chock it up to Firefox's problem.
