I want to get Alienware 17 inches.

There are two version of it. The new one and the current one. The current one is cheaper and Dell gives you $300 off. The new one does not have discounts to it. Is there any advantage to getting the new one?

Should I get the Alienware now? Or wait until Black Friday? Does Dell usually offer better deals on BF?

    Thank you.

Are we talking 980m vs 1070? Big different, the 1070 is way way better in the new one.

Use promotion code "ALIENWAREESPORTS" and you'll get 10% off. Not sure about those outside of the United States, but it worked for me.

No sense in buying an old Alienware. Just grab one with the new GTX 1060 or 1070. Keep in mind that these systems are not upgradeable, so you may as well grab the 1070, even if you don't think you'll need that much power. It will last you much longer.

    Yes 980 vs 1070.

Thank you for the promotion code. It works. I can get an Alienware for $1,500 using this code.

Do you think I should buy it now or wait until Black Friday? Based on your experiences with this.

That promotional code is valid through December. You may want to wait but I would not expect much greater discounts than 10%, maybe 15% during this period. There is a chance that they will have the "Alienware Mystery Coupons" again (like they do every year), which offer up to 20% (limited quantity).

Keep an eye on the fine print (dates). They'll likely update this page by Black Friday.
