Hi everyone , I'm new to forum.

    Image below is m17x-R2

I would like to ask , what are these parts called? anyone know the parts numbers?

    - Shortcut Touch?
    - Infrared near speaker?

Does the shortcut touch of r3 fit on r2?

The R2 and R3 are not compatible. On the R2 it's called the power bar and on the R3 they call it the hinge cover which actually wraps around the keyboard. Download the service manual from Dell's website to find the official names and how to replace them.
