Hi guys. I got a friend of mine an amazing R4 deal on the outlet a couple weeks back. He's loving it but it came with a sole 256gb SSD and he wants to supplement that with a 1tb drive. So, what is the 1tb drive Dell use when you buy a machine off their website? He wants it to be same make and model, even if there's cheaper alternatives that are 7200rpm.

When installed, would it matter what bay it's installed in or does that not matter?

Thanks for any and all help.

    Thanks so much for that.

Does anyone know if the TOSHIBA HDD2K51Z 2.5" 1TB drive would fit? Would any 2.5" do the job? Apologies, but I'm no expert on fitting HDD :(

    Hi :)

If your friend is in the US, tell him to send us an e-mail to [email protected] with his service tag and contact information, tell him to include a brief explanation of his request and my name, we can help him find the best HDD.
