    I live in Massachusetts and I'm curious about where the factory is in relation to me. I can't get the thing off my mind, so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. :)

    I think they are made in China and then shipped to your local courier.

    Outlet machines are shipped from Dell's facility in TN, I believe.

    Alienware is mainly consisted of third party components(mostly made in china.)
    Then assembled on dell facility on NASHVILLE, TN .

    The tracking number on my m17x showed the point of origin in Edision NJ I believe.

    Each machine is shipped to your local shipping courier to be picked up. I think the computers are made in China. I've seen a lot of people reporting their machines were built in Shanghai, China or something.

    All my components are chinese. I have no clue where it was assembled. I was looking at all the parts when the Tech was destroying my baby. :(

    Yep, I'm pretty sure mine are all made in China as well. I had a sticker last time on my M1730. That was made in Malaysia. Congrats on the new system chief oles.
