Do you want to use this as a 2nd sli card?

You are in for one hell of a ride if you do.
Dell will not sell you the right side heatsink, cooler fan or thermal pad if you don't buy the card from them.

Your best bet is ebay. The cooler fan will be easy, but the heatsink, thermal pad and SLI cable likely will prove a challenge...
I also think (but i'm not sure for nvidia) you will have to flash the bios of the 2nd card to the slave bios.

There's no need for a "slave" BIOS on nVIDIA cards like there is for ATi.
That's why i always say in case people upgrade and you think you got a deal on a card without the heatsink and SLi cable it'll be hard to find them, better pay a little extra and have it complete.
There are a lot of places where you can buy thermal pads. All you need is ask somebody with a m17x R1 to give you the sizes and thickness of the thermal pads.

You're best bet is if you can give back the card you bought and buy one with the heatsink and SLi cable. Trust me a lot of people took the path you did and most of them quit searching as these are very rare and people having them won't sell them without the cards.

I managed to snag a GTX 260m with SLI cable and heatsink off of ebay the other day - what thermal pads should I be looking for?
