Hi,
as the title says, been looking online for ages now to find the best drive that will work in the R3 as the main drive. Intel 510 series seems to be overpriced when compared to crucial m4 but I'm not too sure? Or are there any other better drive?
Thanks

The C300 series from Crucial is pretty solid from what I hear.
Slower speeds, but still a really fast drive.

$455 compared to the $644 for the Intel 510

If you value the highest speed, and are willing to wait, the Vertex 3 might be a good option as well coming in at $528, though it is only 240 GBs.

I think tduhon07 has it spot on.
I decided personally to pre-order the OCZ Vertex 3 240GB. I was enticed by the higher sustained write speeds of the Vertex 3.
However I believe the Crucial C300 is an SATA III drive and quite fast and the price is very good.
The Intel seems like a great drive but the cost is too much for a slower option. (IMHO)
The C4 seems like a winner, but I do not think it is being released until the and of April and may take until May to be readily available. -
Hi,
thanks think I'll got with the C300, I see the M4 is coming out but found the C300 on ebay for £287 inc postage so seems a bargin...
Thanks
