I have searched and read about the SSD drives, and have decided to get one. I am thinking 160GB, which drive and brand do you guys recommend to be the best?

    Thanks!

I believe Intel is the only manufacturer that makes a 160GB drive. Luckily however they also seem to have the most recommended drive. Start with the intel drives and work your way around. I know that Babyhemi who posts on the M15x forum is selling a few new Intel 160GB G2 drives for a great price.

Go with intel if you're on a budget, if not, check out the Crucial C300s. 350mbps read speed! Thats 100mbps faster than the intels.

That's the speed with it on SATA 3. SATA 2 will push it down to around the same read speeds as the Intel drive. Personally, I would like to get 2 of the Vertex 2 drives once TRIM is supported in RAID 0.

Price vs Performance you probably want to go with a 200gb Vertex 2. The cheapest is amazon as they do not charge tax in most states compared to newegg.

I am waiting for the Corsair Force series to come out shortly. Using the Sandforce controller for ~270MB read and write speeds.
