So here is the dilema. I have 2 machines:

    M17x R4

    Core i7 3940XM
    16GB RAM
    512GB SATA SSD
    1TB 7200rpm HDD
    2GB GTX 680M
    1920x1080 60Hz Screen

    and

    Alienware 17

    Core i7 4930MX
    16GB RAM
512GB MSATA SSD and 2x 1TB Seagate Hybrid drives
    4GB GTX 780M
    1920x1080 120Hz Screen

For the most part this is only my portable gaming machine that will be taken to buddies houses. The games I play the most are CS Global Offensive and CS Source, War Thunder, World of Tanks, Battlefield 3/4.

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on which one I should keep and which one to sell??

Why would you take old over new, LOL? Don't like the new design?

Not too related but just curious. Since OP plays FPS, the 120 Hz screen still works @ 120 Hz even if not 3D on AW laptops?

    Obviously keep the new one....

Me thinks if I had your old? R4 with those spec's I would not have bought a 17.. But now you got a maxed 17 I would keep it and sell the old.

For the 120hz screen alone I would keep the newer one. On the older 60hz screen, your fps has a cap on 60fps and will never go higher because of the screen.... not saying you can really see much of a difference, but it is nice to have. Also specs are better in the newer one. In my opinion, the only thing going for the older one is the design, I just love the look of the older one a lot better than the new 17.
