    How do I enable my microphone for skype and such?

    What should be enabled under the sound control options?

    Microphone Array should be your default communication device if want to use the in-built microphone. Note: if you press fn-f9 to disable your webcam, it will disable the mic as well.

    Thanks a ton. I had the webcam disabled which disabled the mic like you said.
