I did not do a clean install. I upgraded from the stock dell drivers i think. I dont know why, but when i install any new drivers, i get a blue screen.

Ok, try these steps, it may/may not help since the 13.1's should go straight over the top of the Dell stock drivers.

First Download Drive Sweeper: Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

Next download CC Cleaner: CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download

Ok, once you have downloaded both of these, go to device manager>Display adapters. Right click on your 6990m and select uninstall and delete the driver when it prompts you to do so. Now, reboot into Safe Mode. Launch drive sweeper, select AMD only, click analyse and when its finished select the "clean" tab.

Now reboot normally and launch CC cleaner and run a registry repair, repair all until there is nothing left to repair, you may have to run it a few times.

Make sure you are on the 6990m and not the Intergrated graphics then download and install the Dell drivers. Once complete, reboot and install the 13.1's over the top.

Does it happen on safe mode as well? If it does not then you might wanna try a system restore from safe mode.

When i install the 13.1 drivers over the dell stock, it somehow changes to VGA mode and the screen screws up - -
