This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Why are silver and red options gone from the Canadian site?

    I asked a Dell rep this question in the chat and he wasn't helpful at all. Maybe people on here have some good guesses.

    A couple of days ago, the option to choose Lunar Silver or Nebula Red was eliminated for the M17x on the Canadian site (alienware.ca). Those options still exist for the M15x. Now, when you click on "customize", Space Black is automatically chosen as the colour, with no way to change it. What is going on here? Why did they do this?

    mostly they are out of those parts for now... pretty sure they will be back up soon when they get it... calling reps wont help much but you could try...

    Well that's a relief to hear. I really want Nebula Red but I'm not ordering for a few more weeks.
