That is the Error code for GPU fault.
Try reseating it in MXM slot.

First try to do a power drain.
Unplug AC and Battery, then press and hold the power button for 30seconds.
Plug battery and AC back in and try to turn it on.

If the blink code persist it could be that you GPU is already dead or dying.

To reseat it, follow this guide, to the part where he takes out the GPU.

Once you are there you can also repaste it.
Then you put it back, and reverse the whole procedure.

I already tried it.even reseat back the gpu,but still i couldn't turn on.
Then, i tried to replace the master gpu with slave cpu as primary.
Fortunately,it turn on.but saying no operating system detected.
Is it my master gpu before this is dead?
i did nothing wrong.this morning, before this happened the only thing i did is jz repaste the gpu with IC Diamond. Then, testing it to run sleeping dogs for 3 hours straight to monitor the temperature. All seems ok till i restart the lappy. After that, dang! i coudnt start anymore. The black screen happened, caps and scroll keeps blinking. :mad2:

Maybe the BIOS settings were reset when you did the power drain, change it from AHCI to RAID or vice versa? Should boot then.

Sounds like the primary gpu has died.

Yes, i think that is the case, luckily you have a SLI setup, and you can use the laptop now :D

Operating system fault is due to bios "Sata mode" setting changing to different value after doing the power drain.
Go inside bios, and make sure you have the correct mode chosen.
If you dont know what you have, just try all the options, one by one.
Set the HDD to first boot device, or make sure any USB/external HDD is removed, then try again.

(You can try putting Master one into Secondary slot, but i doubt that it will work :/ )

    Edit:

Deniz beat me to it :D

I dont ever use the anti-static wrist band either.
(but when i'm handling expensive electronics, i discharge myself on some peice of metal)

I'm pretty sure you gotta be damn unlucky to actually kill GPU with static.

Everything has its lifetime limit, probably your gpu is just old.

Plz some help! is my lappy really dying?pretty freakout since GPU 1 already dead and now this GPU2 as primary. :(

    EDIT :
Now it won't boot into bios anymore.when i start, the screen juz goes blank.and when i try to turn it off using power button and i even holding it too long, it won't turn off.i have to unplug the power cable. and when i try to plug in back the power cable, the alienware letter jz popping right out with red color without me even turn on the power button first.

Hm, ok next thing you can do is insert a windows CD, and run the repair from there.
It should be able to restore your MBR, or whatever Win 7 is using now.

Ok, try to do a power drain again, and see where that takes you.
I had the exact same problem when i was trying to use semi-faulty 5870M in secondary slot.
So, just to make sure. You are not using the faulty GPU anymore are you?
You should put it aside for now.
