I play with the msi afterburner enable to see in my screen the frecuency of my core.
And after playing for 20minutes the core changes from 620mhz to 475mhz for 10 seconds...how its possible? and the frames decreased.
Is there any new vbios to correct this??

    I have the M17x R4

    Thanks guys!

    (sorry for my english!)

That is the power throttle at 63c, to fix it follow the guide here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...throtting-fix-no-need-modify-system-bios.html

BUT use the bios I have attached, everything is the same, you just use this bios rather than the one he is providing for the 580m.

    Have you checked your temps?

If I'm not mistaken nVidia cards should throttle when they're close to 80.0c

This is the power throttle and can happen at quite low temps. Different games will trigger this and YodaGoneMad's vbios will effectively stop this - but monitor temps after. Worked fine on my 580 and this 675 :D

The overheating throttle drops it to 135 core. The problem here is definitely the power throttle. Flashing the bios will not effect the overheating throttle, it just removes the power throttle. There really is no need to monitor temps, if you ever overheat you will know it by the fact your game becomes unplayable when the overheating throttle kicks in.

Yea, sorry I forgot to mention that, just rename it to .rom, and probably something simple like 675mfix.rom.

You need to do it from dos, you have to follow the guide exactly. Make the bootable USB, boot to it in dos, then do the commands exactly (INCLUDING THE BACKUP). You cannot safely flash an Optimus system from Windows. Make sure you follow the version of the guide for the non-3D Optimus enabled system.
