I ordered my M17XR3 with the built in 60GHZ transmitter, and picked up this yesterday online ZYXEL WHD6215-R Wireless HD Receiver - Dell Only : TVs: LCD, Plasma, DLP | Dell
It works flawlessly and crystal clear and no lag, its so easy to setup it took under 5 minutes...
How come Dell is no longer offering this?

It was back ordered by over 60 days, so I think they just removed it until they can get them in-stock again, no one actually wants to wait 60 days for one, and people were adding them and not realizing the massive wait they would cause.

I was looking at this feature but was told that the technology was only being adopted in N America. I purchased this :Xenta Wireless HDMI Kit - WHDI HDMI Transmitter and Receiver. Much cheaper than a WiHD box and it works great. Full HD, one end on the TV and the other end connected to a HDMI auto-switch where all my devices are. TV is now free to go anywhere! Only HDMI 1.3 though so no good for 3DTV devices...

I didn't get it for Audio Reasons.

I just got my WiHD module today and installed it in my laptop. Now I'm waiting for my Wireless reciever.
@blitz16v, after the display is paired can you control the resolution and refresh rates from the CCC?
WiHD totally worth it, yet AlienWare pulled it off its online config?
