Heyas, trying to get my M17x r3 3D to work with my Wii U. Works for one second than boom, black screen. On windows 8. Please advise?

EDIT: From digging around it seems it's an unfixable issue on windows 8, will I be able to dualboot a windows 7 OS to have it working again?

What do you mean its a unfixable issue to do with windows 8? My R4 has no issues with hdmi input under windows 8. Havent tried a wii u specifically but I don't see why not.

Basing it off of what Jody said in this thread:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m17x/691009-m17x-hdmi-help.html

The regedit fix doesn't work for windows 8 it seems.
