Going to college next year, will need to carry my m17x r3 and a few textbooks around in a backpack.
It's the Targus A7 17" Commuter Backpack. Supposed to fit 17 inch laptops but i wanted to make sure.

well it says its made to fit 17" laptops so it should work, might be a tight fit, considering most 17" laptops are actually like 17.3" but it looks big enough

Your main concern will be width and height....

I would buy it from someone with a good return policy just in case.
Amazon will let you ship things back if don't like it for free (just tell em it wasn't as described)

I had a 15" targus backpack and it fit my 17" dell 1720 laptop, so I figure the 17" pack should fit the M17, but I cannot be sure since I've never tried. -
If you're in the US I would highly recommend the Everki Black Beacon. My m17x fits in about just right, and the bag itself is great quality product. Here's the newegg link:

The belkin EVO 17 messenger bag that was included with my purchase of M17xR3 fits it just fine, together with PSU there are still ample space for other stuff. The size of the M17xR3 is deceptive as it is considerably larger than most other 17" laptops.
Will my M17x R3 fit into this backpack?
