Just wondering if it will ruin or cause peeling of the soft touch finish.

Can someone provide me with some insight on this?

    Thankyou~

It did not ruin my finish, but left small amounts of residue behind that will easily come up with some goo-gone, and liberal scrubbing.

I removed mine very easily and just relocated them to the underside of the machine. They came off with minimal effort and all I used was my fingernail :p but I did need to use some goo-gone to get rid of the sticky residue :)

But I can't see it ever hurting the soft touch if you were to leave them on there either.

I don't see why not :) Many members have customized their rigs in extreme ways (e.g., painting, wrapping, etc.). Just don't block the vents on the back and bottom of the rig

Just like tayer said, it will not cause any issues as long as the ventilation remains equal. :) Good luck on that and let us see some pictures once you have it ready!
