    Hey guys,

    I have a 2013 Alienware 17 model.

    I upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - Bit to Windows 10 Pro 64 - Bit.

I did a clean install just to make sure I didn't have anything from Windows 7 that would conflict with Windiws 10.

Downloaded the drivers from dell and installed them with little trouble.

I just have a few questions I'm hoping someone could answer.

    1. My on screen display does not seem to work. The driver is installed and the icons shows up in the tray but I do not have any notification for ejecting a disc or turning num lock on or off. However, there is a display for when I turn the volum up or down and when I use the integrated/dedicated graphics switch.

Is this normal or should I be seeing more notifications like the ones that I mentioned I do not see?

    2. There seems to be a huge delay in a NVIDIA ballon pop up that says "your image quality can be improved by switching to 1600 x 900"

I only get it when I am done playing a game that launches itself in a lower resolution. Only thing is the pop up doesn't show up until my screen saver pops on. So if I launch a game that plays in a lower resolution more than 1 time when my screen saver launches I get that notification how many ever times I launched the game repeatedly in a spamming fashion.

Anyone know how to fix this so it appears right after I exit the game or even know how to disable it possibly?

That's really the only two things that I have questions about.

If you can answer either question please comment back, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    1. Have you downloaded the right driver version from Dell's site? When you go to your model's support page, there are the chance to change te O.S. By default the site show the model's factory O.S. (Windows 7 in your case). You have to switch to Windows 10.

    2. Same behavoir here. I didn't do anything. I keep it.
