Windows 10 problem

Recently i did a windows 10 clean install after upgrade my alienware 17 2013 from windows 7 to windows 10.
and now i getting windows not activated Error code: 0xC004C003. Called microsoft and they can't solved it.
i did this together with my second laptop which lenovo brand, my second laptop can activated itself without any problem.
*did clean install because i want to boot in uefi mode, before format, i used the upgraded windows 10 about a month and make sure that copy is activated.
any solution?

 

The same thing happened to me when I tried to do a clean install of windows 10, It wouldn't activate. The solution to this is using the windows 7 or 8 CD for a clean install and then upgrade to windows 10 from there.

 

you initially need to migrate from existing os to windows 10
it then encodes you original win7/8/8.1 code to your account

then you may reset it any number of times and directly activate with that same account(but probably on the same laptop)

 

Your not the only one man, the internet is having a fit over it and rightfully so. Microshit screwed up on this royally to say the least. Microsoft initially said that if you wanted to clean install then you had to do the upgrade first, which is a PITA but W/E , so like a million others I upgraded to 10 and then tried to clean install and got the can't activate error and never found a reliable solution. I format all the time if stuff isn't working right so I have done it a few times since launch and ONCE I had 10 clean install activate properly and never again , I have resorted to just installing 8.1 and upgrading from that to have it reliably activate without issue. Microshit claims that there is a solution coming to this but being that were already well past release I am not holding my breath.

Some people claim if you force activate it a billion times it will go eventually and that the servers are just overloaded but being that I don't even have a button to spam...I have to do it through the command prompt I really can't be bothered.

 

just found this solution:
Download the Windows 10 system ISO imageIn your current Win7 / Win 8 / 8.1 system, use or right click to select the virtual drive software loaded Win10 mirror

Find a program called "gatherosstate.exe" in Win10 mirrored in the Sources folder, copy it to the desktop

Double click gatherosstate.exe, wait a moment, it will generate a file called "GenuineTicket.xml" file on your desktopFrom the file name can be seen, GenuineTicket.xml is the "genuine passport" means that which holds the current computer system activation information, you can use U disk to save it, we will need later in this document

Use your favorite way to a new installation of Windows 10 system, but careful to ensure Win7 / 8 corresponds to the version you want and Win10, such as family version of Win7 Home Edition can only be activated Win10. U can make Windows 10 installation disk, NT6 HDD Installer hard disk installationWindows 10 installation process, select Skip when prompted to enter the key

Win10 installation to be completed and into the desktop, press the keyboard shortcut Win + R to open the "Run", enter the following red part of the content and click OK "% ProgramData% \ Microsoft \ Windows \ ClipSVC \ GenuineTicket"The system will open a folder, copy the files previously generated GenuineTicket.xml to this folderMake sure your computer and then restart the computer networking properly.

After the computer restarts, wait a moment Win10 will automatically activate. If not, manually enter the "Settings", click on the bottom of the window "Windows is not activated. Please activate Windows now" link and then click on the "online activation Windows" "Activate" button under manual activation.
