    Hello,

I ordered my laptop around 1st of November with Windows 8 preinstalled, will everything be already configured on my laptop? Like UEFI fast boot and things like that.. And will everything work from the Alien.. software? And the right drivers installed for everything? Multitouch,GPU,..

All the standard stuff should work like OSD (controls the media buttons in the top-right), Alien Control Center, AlienFx, etc. Alienware won't knowingly ship new systems with Windows 8 unless all the software AND drivers were functioning satisfactorily. Now, how well the GPU drivers work is another story. As far as UEFI boot goes, I have no idea. You will have to tell us. I imagine UEFI being pre-configured as it is natively part of the Windows 8 experience, but don't quote me on it.

I agree with Radji on everything. It should come with everything working perfectly. The only thing that could be updated is the video driver and the UEFI fast boot is something that we normally include during the building process but if it is not there just enable it and you should be fine.
