    Windows Aero Score of 1???

    ? Just ran the test and got a windows Aero score of 1... everything has been updated. Not sure what to do...

    Those tests don't matter. If you've got a suspicious 3DMark score, or your favorite game is running like crap, that's what matters.

    Ya screw Aero..you can just edit it yourself if you want and take it upto 7.5 or something and amaze your dumb friends. lol

    Figured it out.

    For future reference: If you install StarDock from the Dell Website to use and AW theme, do not run Aero. It will give you a score of 1. Simply uninstall the program and run the performance index to get a normal score.

    I was talking about something else.
    Go to C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore and check for the latest xml file. Open it with notepad. Navigate to Lines where you can see scores of your PC on various accounts. Change your desirable score. Save the file with the same name.And if you do mess up the xml file, don't worry, just delete it and re-run the test !
