    Firstly !!!!!!

    and Secondly, why?

I soiled myself this morning when i turned on the laptop and i got a black screen with white writing saying CHKDSC it is strongly recommended that you proceed etc etc.

Well i let it run its CHKDSC and it found no errors and continued to start the laptop with no problems.

    Should i be worried?

This laptop is like 10 days old............

nothing to worry about, could be simply the result od Dells factory image being a little skewed or an improper shutdown, it's a check to make sure all is well and in your case it was
