Can any one help? I have a M17x-r2 with windows 7 profesional. The win logo key has somehow became disabled. I am not sure if this is a windows setting or an alienware setting. If I bring up the on screen keyboard the logo key there does work.

I realise it's a few days since you posted (gawd this forum is sooo quiet/dead since Alienware released their disappointing soldered/external GPU rubbish).

On topic, if you're still having trouble:

I've used SharpKeys to remap keys (it's free): http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/map-any-key-to-any-key-on-windows-xp-vista/

Once you launch the SharpKeys application, click "Add", "Type Key", Physically hit your windows key, then in the list on the right hand side, search for "Special: Left Windows (E0_5B)": select it, then save/write to registry.

That should sort out your problem, quick and easy.
