    Windows re-install lost CommandCentre button

    I had to re install windows on my m17x r4, and i also re installed the m17x resources disks with it, but the command centre button on the right of the power button, and the show battery status thing dont work - there may be other things i havent discovered yet. how do i fix this?

    Have you tried using AlienFX (part of Alienware Command Center) to create a new theme? Sometimes the default theme gets corrupted during installation.

    For the Power (battery status) icon, click on the small "up" arrow on the taskbar, select Customize, go to Power and select "Show icon and notifications" from the dropdown box and then OK. Or, after opening the Customize screen, click on "Turn system icons on or off" in the lower left corner and do it from there.
