Ok, after a few failed attempts at booting I tried to reinstall windows. At which point I ran into "Missing media driver" message. So I am still in the collecting information stage of a new install. Ive sat this way for the better part of today. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you still didn't overwrite the first windows installation. you can try to press F8 when you see the Windows logo to go into Safe Mode.
