    Hey All,

Anyone else having any issues with a recent windows update? My R3 downloaded an update yesterday and then both my wifi and ethernet connections died. I then did a system restore not thinking it had anything to do with they update and today the same thing happened.

Ideas anyone? For now I restored my computer to a few days ago again and turned off windows update.

    Thanks

That happened to me on Saturday night during my windows update (just reformatted the machine, so tons of update). Wireless stopped working and I figured my router went down. Checked with another computer I had online and it was fine. Everything started working again after I restarted the machine though.

Yes, this also happened to me. I could connect to the router fine , it just said "No Internet Access".

The KillerNetManager process was also maximising my CPU at 100% usage.

I fixed this instantly by uninstalling Mcafee. I hope this works for you.

+1. Same thing happened to me yesterday. After a lot of head scratching and trying different things, finally came across a thread that recommended getting rid of McAfee. Did so, and everything was fine again. Installed Microsoft Security Essentials and life is good again. MSE ROCKS!!! It's not intrusive like McAfee and takes up very little resurces.
