I have seen a wireless AC solution from Intel and Killer and wanted to know if anyone has tried them yet? I want to move to wireless AC (800+ kbps)

I use wireless AC at home and allot of the places I go have upgraded to AC now. Also which AC solution have you had the best experience with?

You should be able to upgrade the wireless card no problem , they are a pretty common form factor and there shouldn't be any issues. Some people were reporting issues with the Intel card on the 2014 17's and the killer card used to have issues with Windows 8 but I don't know if that is still a problem.

I know a buddy with the Intel card and he has not had any issues but he does not have AC yet. I am still using a dual band N card as I don't have AC either.

Which one is cheaper? I honestly don't buy into the Killer wireless making a difference thing so if the Intel card is cheaper that would be my choice but that is just personal opinion, perhaps someone can say they have seen an improvement with the killer card over a general Intel.

Killer card is in M2 format only so Intel 7260ac/7265ac is your best bet..
