First off thank you for reading. I recently bought my M17x that was made around June of last year from a friend ofmine in the navy. He reinstalled it back to factory settings. Unfortunately he did not have disc 2 with all the drivers.

I have reinstalled all of them with the exception of the wireless network card. Under device manager it does not recognize it. I tried a system scan and it is not recognized.

My question is is there a way to find out what type of wireless network card I have based on the time frame it was made or any other method?

    Thank you for any help.
