I have a broadcom 802.11n network adapter with the nvidia nforce networking controller. I usually have my computer connected to my router by ethernet but last night i tried to use the wireless network with no luck. My network will appear but when i try to connect it just says that it fail to connect. I cant even type in the password. My computer came with vista and i upgraded it to windows 7 ultimate 64bit and have used the wireless before. I have tried to uninstall the network adapters and reinstall them with no luck and i also disabled the nforce still with no change. I also tried to use a different network but that didn't help. The only thing i can think of doing is a respawn which i really don't want to do.

I have seen issues with Netgear N routers it might not be your computer and a compatability issue with the router. Upgrade your router to the latest firmware and reset it and see if it fix's the problem.

I heard it was the update you installed ruined everyone's wifi. Downgrade to a lower version.

hi, in past i had the same problem, the problem is on the chipset drivers, if you do a clean install and then try to connect, in my case mi wireless are ok, but at the moment when i install the chipset drivers, the problem you have appears...

i don't know if updating / downgrading chipset drivers fix the problem.
